Throughout NME a consistent house style is kept, this is done by keeping all fonts, sizing, layout and colouring the same, unless there is a specific double page or a more in depth article, in that case it will have its own font and layout taylored for the article. The majority of the text used is sans serif in black on a white background make it stand out and making it inveitabley easy for the reader to read.

The house style used in the magazine is extremely approrpiate, its almost trying to be indie in itself, very plain and dull with a fair few picture which in my personal opinion makes its more appealing to me as a reader. Its clear that all pages here are noticeably from the same magzine and have a very well presented house style.
